About ChatGPT (Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer)

Today we are going to talk about a very new technology i.e ChatGPT

What is ChatGPT?

A huge language model called ChatGPT, created by OpenAI, can produce responses to input in natural language that are human-like. The term “Generative Pre-trained Transformer” refers to a particular kind of neural network architecture that has been trained on enormous volumes of text data to discover the patterns and structure of human language. ChatGPT can imitate a conversation with a human user by leveraging this training data to produce responses that are frequently grammatically accurate and semantically relevant.

ChatGPT is helpful for a range of applications including chatbots, customer service, and language translation since it can produce human-like responses to natural language input. When a user enters a message or a query, ChatGPT analyses the text using a pre-trained model to produce the most likely relevant response given the current conversation’s context.

Many benchmark studies, including the SuperGLUE benchmark, which assesses language model performance on a variety of natural language understanding tasks, have shown the effectiveness of ChatGPT in producing natural language responses. The largest language model in the world at the time of its release, ChatGPT GPT-3, was released by OpenAI in 2020. It includes 175 billion parameters. GPT-3 has shown outstanding performance on a variety of natural language tasks and has been employed in a number of applications, including chatbot interfaces and automated content generation.

How to start ChatGPT on Windows 10/11 platform ?

As an AI language model, ChatGPT does not need to be installed or run directly on your computer. Instead, it is typically accessed through an online platform or application that integrates with the ChatGPT API.

There are several chatbot platforms that use ChatGPT, such as Replika, Hugging Face, and DialoGPT. You can visit their websites and create an account to start chatting with the ChatGPT-powered chatbot.

When you will open the link the screen will appear like below -

If you have not created account yet, click on Sign up or else to logged in click on Log in

When you will click on Sign up, following screen will appear, you can sign up using your regular email address or through Gmail id or through your Microsoft Account.

If you don’t have gmail or Microsoft account, you can provide your regular account with password, ChatGPT will ask you to verify account through provided email address.

When you will click on verify link(you will get this link through provided email address),

When you have done with the verification, following screen will appear , here you have to provide your information. The same screen will also appear if you will try to Sign up through Gmail or Microsoft account.

Code verification will have done through WhatsApp or through regular message.

After entering the verification code , you have to simply click on Next button for rest of the screen and finally you have to click on Done button

Now, click on Done

Where you can use ChatGPT?

Following are some applications where you can use ChatGPT.

Creation of content: ChatGPT can produce excellent text content for a range of uses, including writing product descriptions, making marketing materials, and producing news pieces.

Personal assistants: ChatGPT can be used to create personal assistants that can carry out duties including setting reminders, organising appointments, and responding to inquiries.

Text translation: You can translate text between languages using ChatGPT.

ChatGPT can be used to create educational applications that can provide quiz questions, answer queries, and provide explanations.

Healthcare: ChatGPT can be used to provide help and information on health-related issues, such as addressing queries regarding symptoms, prescription drugs, and available treatments.

Gaming: ChatGPT can be used to design intelligent, player-interactive virtual gaming characters.

In general, ChatGPT can be utilised in any application that requires natural language creation and processing.
